Service Offered and Fees
We offer you a dietary and fitness programme that aims at long-term weight reduction and at increasing your fitness levels.
You will receive an e-mail three times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) that has been specifically designed for your needs and that will guide you during the programme.
You will be able to follow your progress graphically on your own homepage.
The fee for the programme is EUR 15.00 or alternative 19 US$ per month. The programme ends after three months without you having to give notice.
If you pay by direct debit you can give notice at any time at the month end. (see General Terms and Conditions)
Prerequisites for Participation
Participation is not possible:
- If you have a severe acute illness
- If you currently suffer from any eating disorders such as anorexia or bulimia
- If your body weight is too low (malnutrition)
- If you are pregnant or breastfeeding
- If you are less than 16 years old
Those suffering from any serious illness such as cancer, heart and cardiovascular diseases, kidney disorders etc. cannot participate in the programme. It is recommended that diabetics should only participate under the supervision of their GP. In case of any doubts, first consult your GP who should confirm that there are no objections from a medical point of view to losing weight and doing physical exercise. A medical check up is recommended for those above the age of 35 and for persons who suffer from high blood pressure, diabetes and high cholesterol.

How Was the Novafeel- Programme Developed?
In the first year (2002) we offered personal advice by e-mail alongside the e-mails sent out three times a week. However, replying to all the e-mails proved very costly so that the fee for the programme was EUR 39.00 per month.
In January 2003, based on the experience of the first year, we decided to stop providing additional advice via e-mail and as a result reduced the fee considerably.
We realised that most of the questions received were on the same topics. We therefore reviewed the programme by including all the answers that had been given so far.
In order to establish whether the e-mails were entirely self-explanatory, we reduced the membership fee by 2/3 for those members who were prepared to make suggestions on how to improve the programme. By November 2003 we had received more than 2500 feed back e-mails that were integrated into the programme. Nearly all suggestions or requests for amendments were implemented within a week so that within a short period of time the new version of the e-mails could be reassessed. The feedback e-mails covered all aspects of the programme. The following are examples of feed back e-mails that were implemented:
